This policy explains what personal information Bioseren Medical Solutions Private Limited, operator of the Wear Metal brand (“the Company”, “we”), collects when you use our website or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. The Company is the data controller for all personal information processed through this website. By using the website you consent to the practices below.

1. Information we collect

When you browse the site we collect basic technical information such as your IP address, device, browser, and pages viewed.

When you purchase, we collect your name, shipping and billing address, phone number, email address, and any order notes you leave. Payment information, such as card numbers, UPI credentials and net-banking passwords, is captured by our payment gateway and is never visible to us.

2. How we use it

We use your information to fulfil and ship orders, communicate about your orders, provide customer support, prevent fraud, improve the site, and send marketing communications only if you have explicitly opted in. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Who we share with

We share the minimum information needed with the services that run this store: Shopify, which hosts our store and checkout; Razorpay, which processes payments; Shiprocket and its courier partners, which deliver your order; Vercel, which hosts this website; Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which show us how the site is used (see section 6); and Google Forms and Google Sheets, which store newsletter sign-ups. We also share information with Meta Platforms, which runs Facebook and Instagram, to measure our advertising and show our ads to people likely to want them: what you view, add to your cart and buy, and, at checkout, your name, email address, phone number and location (see section 6). We do not sell your information.

4. How long we keep it

Transactional records are retained for eight (8) years as required by Indian GST law. Marketing contact information is retained until you unsubscribe.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations. You can also withdraw consent to marketing at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email support@wearmetal.shop. We respond within one working day.

6. Cookies and session recording

We use functional cookies for cart and session management. We use Google Analytics to measure visits, and Microsoft Clarity, which records how you move through our pages (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) so we can find what is broken or confusing. Checkout and payment happen on Shopify’s checkout, where Clarity does not run. We also use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API. The pixel is code from Meta Platforms that runs on this website and on Shopify’s checkout, sets cookies, and tells Meta what you view, add to your cart and buy. At checkout, Shopify also sends Meta your order with your name, email address, phone number and location, server to server, so that a purchase can be matched to an ad. You can manage how Meta uses this in Accounts Centre in your Facebook or Instagram settings, under “Activity from other businesses” (in some regions still “Your activity off Meta technologies”, formerly Off-Facebook Activity). You can block non-essential cookies in your browser settings without affecting checkout.
