Is it a real cartridge?

No. Every Wear Metal piece is solid, precision-machined from titanium bar stock. No primer, no powder, no hollow casing. It carries the shape of a cartridge, never the function.

How is the colour made?

The four colours are anodized titanium. The colour comes from an oxide layer grown electrochemically on the surface. It is part of the metal, not a paint or coating. It will not chip, peel, or fade. Natural Titanium is the bare metal, with no anodizing.

Each piece is CNC-turned from solid grade-5 titanium in our Gujarat workshop and finished by hand. The colours are anodized. Natural Titanium is left as the bare metal. Every batch is inspected for dimension and finish before dispatch.

Will it react with my skin?

Titanium is biocompatible and hypoallergenic. It is the same grade used in medical implants. A leather cord is the only part that needs occasional care.

Care: Wipe the cartridge with a dry microfibre cloth. Titanium is effectively maintenance-free. On the anodized finishes, the colour is in the oxide layer, not a coating, so it will not chip or fade. Spot-clean a leather cord with a damp cloth; avoid soaking. A ball chain needs only a dry wipe.
